The Sigma 500mm EX super telephoto lens is a DG series model with a large f/4.5 max aperture. It is suitable for DSLRs with both 35mm and APS-C sized image sensors. It features Super Multi Layer Coating – new and improved to further reduce ghosting and flare and two ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) elements in the front of the lens for drastic reduction of chromatic aberration and an increase in overall sharpness and contrast.A 46mm drop-in filter holder is included which can be rotated so making it ideal for use with circular polarising filters. In addition to this the Hyper Sonic Motor is fast and quiet and has Inner focusing meaning the lens barrel does not move during the focusing operation. Accepts Sigma 1.4x and 2x Converters.
